June EV-Anar: Supporting Healthy Cybersecurity Habits in your Course

Several reports show an ongoing increase in online education enrollment. Likewise, the cyber-attacks in higher education are now in the spotlight.  Cyber-attacks on education ultimately force us, as staff members, instructors, developers, etc. to become ‘actively’ aware of cyber threats and create an effective security culture.  In this month’s EV-Anar, Karen Bovell, Adjunct Instructor for the Department of Security and Emergency Services will discuss topics such as browser security, mobile security, social media security, and attachments to help sustain a culture of cybersecurity as we support our learners in cyberspace.
