Chat with RCTLE and your colleagues!

We have several opportunities for you to get involved with us! This month, be sure to visit and engage in the RCTLE eUnion Discussion. This is a good opportunity to share teaching strategies that you use in your course(s) and/or pick up new strategies to add to your teaching toolbox!

We will also have our live office hours that will be held in the RCTLE EagleVision Room on April 18th @ 2 PM ET.

And as always, please feel free to email us with any questions you may have or to schedule a one-on-one consultation.

Teaching Tip

Providing feedback is an important part of the teaching and learning experience. Using audio or video feedback on assignments is a great way to connect with students and can save you time while you’re grading. It’s also a great way to show a personal presence in your class. Audio or video feedback can be especially helpful if a student receives a grade that they weren’t expecting.  Hearing your voice, that you are concerned about their progress, and an encouraging tone can “soften” the news of the grade they received.

The mission of the Rothwell Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence is to empower faculty members in their pursuit of professional growth through diverse offerings for the universal goal of student success.
