This month’s Tip Clip outlines some of the dos and don’ts for sharing images, videos and music in your instructor created content like videos and announcements.  The Instructional Technology Team from our Instructional Design and Development Department did an amazing job putting this presentation together.

Please be sure to join the discussion about additional free resources you can use in your classes on our RCTLE eUnion.

OLC Virtual Conference Registration

The 2019 Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Innovate Conference will begin on Wednesday, April 3rd and will end on Friday, April 5th. Your RCTLE has secured virtual registrations for any interested ERAU-W faculty.  The virtual registration includes access to over 100 streamed sessions.  For a complete listing of the streamed sessions, please visit the OLC Innovate 2019 Streamed Session Program page

Contact us at rctle@erau.edu for log-in information.

We will also post daily announcements with recommended sessions in the RCTLE Resource Site (note: became the RCTLE eUnion in 2020). We hope you are able to take advantage of this great offering.

RCTLE Office Hours and Individual Consultations

Office hours are a great way to connect with your students, clarify confusion, or demonstrate a process.  Attend our office hours to take away some strategies for making the most of office hours in your own course. Our office hours will be held on April 17 @ 11 AM ET in our RCTLE EagleVision Room.

If you have a specific question about your own teaching, please reach out to us with the Faculty Consultation Request Form.  This is a great way to schedule an individual consultation with one of the Faculty Developers to improve your practice.

April will be the last month for this catalog of Self-Paced Workshops. If you have begun a Self-Paced Workshop, please be sure to complete it by the close of business on April 30th. If you haven’t yet, please be sure to check out the Self-Paced Workshop offerings.  These short workshops should take between 2-4 hours to complete and will leave you with something you can use in your course(s) immediately. An updated catalog of Self-Paced Workshops will be opening in August.
