September EV-Anar: Facilitating Discussion Forums
The discussion board is a versatile tool to probe student knowledge, explore new ideas and resources, and to build class community. Strong instructor engagement with the discussion board serves as a model for students.
Join Emily Faulconer, Assistant Professor for ERAU-W in the Department of Mathematics, Physical, and Life Sciences, as she discusses some strategies for discussion board facilitation.

The APA tutorials have a new home
Did you know that your RCTLE has created a self-paced offering regarding the basics of APA formatting for faculty? There’s also a version you can share with your students in your courses.
Asking good questions is a great way to get your students engaged in class discussions. Here are some “power questions” for meaningful discussions.
