Moderating a quiz lets you give students extra attempts and manually unlock quiz attempts. Follow these steps to extend quiz time and the number of attempts:

  • In Course Navigation, select the Quizzes link
  • In the Options menu, choose Moderate This Quiz
  • Select the Edit icon (pencil) to Change User Extensions for a particular student

  • Complete the information required by the pop-up window to extend time or allow additional attempts for the student‚Äč.

  • Select the Save button

You can use the Edit icon to moderate the quiz at any time for a student. Depending on the quiz settings, you can also give extra time for timed quizzes and let students see quiz results one more time.
